About

I am a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BFA in Drawing & Painting and a BA in Art History. Currently I work as a high school art teacher and freelance artist. My work ranges from my own semi-realistic interpretations of characters from popular culture to my original whimsical cat art works. I enjoy working in a wide variety of mediums such as markers, watercolor, acrylic paint, colored pencil, and digital.

A native of New Jersey, I began my studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. I moved to Texas in 2009 and I completed my studies at the University of North Texas. After graduating, I briefly moved to Orlando, FL where I participated in an internship at Walt Disney World before moving back to North Texas to begin my teaching career. I currently reside in the Dallas area with my husband, dog, and three cats. In my spare time, I sell my work at comic and pop culture conventions, cat shows, and various art festivals.
